Scott Soltau

Scott brings over 30 years of industry experience including most recently a successful 6-year career with Morgan Keegan as the Senior Vice President, Institutional Fixed Income Sales. He was one of only two invited to join Morgan Keegan’s Institutional Fixed Income Division from the AmSouth Capital Markets acquisition, where he spent 10 years as a Fixed Income Sales professional and enjoyed working with the bank’s largest customers. Scott started his career in 1983 at American Bank in the bond department, as a Fixed Income Trader and Salesman. Through subsequent acquisitions he was part of the formation of SunTrust Capital Markets. He also participated in monthly strategy meetings for SunTrust Bank’s multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Scott has numerous client relationships spanning Tier-1 money managers, depository institutions, trust departments, municipalities and corporations. In 2013, he launched the Institutional Fixed Income business for FinTrust Brokerage Services, LLC and it’s been growing ever since.

•  Scott used to serve on the board of the Widow’s Harvest Ministries and he co-founded LAUNCH Chattanooga, a non-profit organization delivering entrepreneurship training to underserved communities locally. Over the last 5 years, 9 geographies across the country have replicated the LAUNCH model.
