Samantha “Sam” Schnurr

Sam’s focus at FinTrust is on building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting with service requests. She brings a background in finance to FinTrust, having served as a Staff Financial Planner at a local firm in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she is from.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University, Fort Wayne. She has successfully passed the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam Series 65 allowing her to market and sell securities and give financial advice related to securities. Sam will continue in her focus to build and maintain client relationships while assisting with service requests.

Sam moved to Athens just over a year ago and has found her home there. She loves being outdoors, spending time with friends, and reading. Before leaving Fort Wayne, Sam served on the Fundraising Committee for a non-profit organization located in Fort Wayne, Whitington Homes and Services where she helped revamp their annual fundraiser.
