Mary Katherine (MK) serves as a financial planner for FinTrust Capital Advisors and is working towards earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Her approach to financial planning is highly influenced by her studies in behavioral finance. She values client relationships and is eager to help clients explore their financial priorities to live a life of significance. She understands the benefits of a financial plan with personalized goal setting, disciplined implementation, and ongoing monitoring to measure success.

MK grew up in Athens, Georgia, and interned for FinTrust in Athens while she completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Georgia, where she majored in Financial Planning and minored in Consumer Economics. She continued working there while she completed UGA’s graduate program for Financial Planning, focusing on Behavioral Finance.

MK loves the Dawgs and she also enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends.
