Ed Blackburn

Ed focuses on providing clients with complete financial planning advice. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he has earned a reputation for being a straight shooter and very knowledgeable in all aspects of financial planning. His service approach includes analyzing a client’s overall financial picture including assets, liabilities, cash flow needs, and insurance coverage. By conducting semi-annual review meetings to address any client concerns, he works to maintain client relationships that both adapt and thrive in any given market or economic condition.

Ed received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the College of Charleston in Charleston SC. He is an Alumnus of the Leadership Anderson Class of 2008 and has earned his financial planning specialist and portfolio management designation. Ed and his wife, DeAnna, have three children, Montis (17), Elizabeth (12), and Bennett (10). DeAnna is currently homeschooling the children and stays busy with their very full schedule. Elizabeth is involved in competitive gymnastics and has won several awards. Bennett plays club soccer in Greenville and Montis is a competition archer for his High School archery team. Together as a family, they enjoy trips to the coast to fish, go crabbing, bike and have some relaxing time together.
